Catastrophic Bleed Control

The Red 1 Response Catastrophic Bleeding Control course will give you the essential skills to identify and control life-threatening catastrophic bleeding using a variety of methods including trauma dressings, haemostatic agents, and tourniquets. This course is ideal for first aiders working in high risk environments and emergency service personnel. It may also be helpful to members of the public at risk of encountering mass casualty incidents such as employees of shopping centres, train stations, airports, etc.

All learners are provided with an appropriate full-colour manual and first aid kit upon completion of the course. Businesses can be provided with appropriate BS8599-1 First Aid Kits and an Automated External Defibrillator on request (additional costs may apply).
